The Initial Hit
The initial feeling of losing a sense of purpose for the thing which makes us feel alive is a chaotic phase . It feels like floating into an unknown darkness and there is nothing to hold on and be stable. That feeling of purpose could be connected with our dream , a person or anything for that matter which varies for every individual , but that sudden hit of crisis after a dramatic event which puts us down , kind of breaks it . The whole image of reality which we have built so far shatters and unfortunately we shatter along with it . A sense of objectivity which gave that human a path which he or she believed that , will lead to the final destination that is being chased by everyone around them , totally vanishes . And when they try to hold on to that image it only makes them suffer more from the uncertainty . One starts to question everything that happens around them . The bonds , the goals , the laws , the culture , the conviction followed by everyone in this society , everything becomes pointless and meaningless . Then one starts to question about their own existence which soon sends them down a path of infinite 'why?' . Being alive would soon start to seem absolutely purpose less . That being said the journey after this point varies for every individual . Controlled by infinite amount of factors consciously and subconsciously . And in the midst of this initial phase of existential self awareness and lose of meaning , survival for life plays its own game , which forces one to live with conviction and accept things . Every single thing contradicts itself . And so the journey of seeking that unknown begins .
